Cycling the Frame & The Invisible Frame

Two explorations of Berlin, two collaborations between the director Cynthia Beatt and actor Tilda Swinton, two adventurous bike journeys: one along the Berlin Wall (1988) and the other, 20 years later, in search of the "omissions" between former East and West Berlin that have disappeared in many places - both historical documents that take the pulse of the city, its inhabitants and history, and also a reflection on the relationship between the in and outside and the visible in the invisible.
